THE ART CIRCLE AWARD 2023 - THIRD EDITION
The yearly Art Circle Award is organized by The Art Circle (TAC), a non-profit organisation registered in the UAE.
Aligned with its mission to support the local art scene, and in an effort to highlight a different artist each year, The Art Circle is launching its third edition of The Art Circle Award.
The Art Circle Award is a painting contest.
It is open to all artists, UAE Nationals and Residents in the United Arab Emirates, over the age of 18, and participation is free of charge.
The theme for this year edition: “Imagine the world in 2050”
Inspired by Italo Calvino’s novel ‘’Invisible Cities’’ and in line with 2023 being declared the year of sustainability in the UAE, we invite participants to explore visually the world in 2050 as a utopia where humanity has been able to overcome climate change, reaching its goals.

Deadline: September 25th, 2023
All proposals are reviewed by a jury of art experts.
Shortlisted artworks will be included in an exhibition.
The wining proposal will be unveiled on the opening day of the exhibition and awarded AED 15,000 .
The winning artwork will be part of The Art Circle collection and its reproduction,as a Giclee print, will be offered to the different art specialists it will collaborate with during its various visits and exchanges in 2024.
