TAC AWARD 2022
The theme for the second edition of TAC Award: “I dreamed that I swallowed the moon…”
It is inspired by an event from the life of the famous Emirati poet Ousha Al Suwaidi also known as Fatat Al-Arab (the Girl from the Gulf), who, at the age of 12, woke up from a dream in which she swallowed the moon.
Ousha, 1920-2018, is known throughout the Gulf for her award-winning Nabati poems, many of which have been put to music.
