Letter from Asma Sedeeq Al Motawa, Honorary Board Member & Senior Advisor

In a city that makes art and knowledge a daily choice and an integrated situation, field visits are an aesthetic act parallel to cultural events. As the artist Marcel Duchamp wrote, the recipient is also an art maker. Choosing a piece of art, displaying it in a suitable place, highlighting its aesthetic value, and making it integrate with its new surroundings is pure art.

In this sense, visiting places and events that produce cultural discourse is a kind of actual participation in the event and a deepening of it.

Letter from our member Haifa Al Mubarak

I still remember the email I received from Barbara back in 2018 inviting me to the first meeting with The Art Circle. This opportunity came to me through an introduction by Lina Mikati, whose exquisite cultural gatherings featuring diverse authors and stimulating discussions on various topics I had previously attended. From that moment, my enriching journey with this remarkable and empowering community began.
