Dear Members,

It is my great pleasure while introducing to you our first Newsletter 2021 to start by welcoming the new members who joined us this season and wish all an awesome journey ahead within our circle of art lovers.

Since the early formation of our art community in 2018, the regular communication with our members has always been an important pillar we bank on.

Our initial intention is to have a quarterly newsletter, to announce our upcoming events so you can directly mark them down on your calendar, knowingly aware that other activities that might be of interest to all of us can be added throughout the year.

Our newsletter will also aim to inform you about our community at The Art Circle. In every newsletter, we will invite one of our members to introduce herself. We think that knowing each other better and sharing our personal art experiences and interests will help us build the vibrant art family we are striving to create. I am personally very excited to better know each and everyone of you.

2020 has been a difficult year to all of us but thanks to your support, The Art Circle has been able to continue its activities and to shift its focus from live events to the digital world.

We are very grateful to many of you who have been sending us feedback about the events we’ve been organizing for it helps to motivate us to reach higher limits. Your criticism and suggestions are always welcome as they help us improve the Art Circle to meet finer expectations. So please do not hesitate to let us know of any thought or suggestion you might have.

In 2021, we will continue to have “Web In Art” but we hope to resume our actual and in person events and possibly organize a cultural trip as well.

I am also happy to let you know that we have just began a collaboration with Spirit Now London, a group of Art collectors and benefactors based in London.

This alliance will allow us to attend some of their events and invite them to join some of ours in return.

We like the idea to connect to the world as an art community and will continue these efforts in the years to come.

My final word goes to you our dear members for we are so grateful that we can always count on your support.

My warmest Artistic regards,

Barbara

Letter from our member Christel Alexandrian

My name is Christel Alexandrian and I had the privilege to join the Art Circle in January 2020.

French National with roots in Provence and by heart in Armenia, I have a passion for Culture and Arts from Fine Arts, Literature to Cinema as well as Geopolitics.

With a background in international law, I have always been interested in exploring the relationship between Art and Society and had the opportunity to organize cultural exhibitions related to Armenian artists over the past decade.

For me Art is an open window to the world and offers keys to better understand the society, engage ourselves in thoughts, dialogue with one another, make new encounters, feel new emotions, in a nutshell live better!
What I love about Art as well is its dimension to allow people from different cultures and different times to communicate with each other via images, sounds and stories. Art is definitely a vehicle for social change and this power is just amazing!

From that perspective, the Art Circle has been fulfilling all of the above!

I have been thrilled by each event I have been attending, amazed by the quality and the diversity of the initiatives, the professionalism and warm spirit of the Board and its members.

In the current challenging times, I feel grateful to be part of such a vibrant community and I am really looking forward to the next chapter, having no doubt that it will broaden our horizons.
