Ashraf KESSAISSIA

Ashraf Kessaissia is a French born artist and Algerian by roots. He currently lives in the UAE after travelling North Africa, Europe Middle East and South East Asia. He is a Photojournalist and painter before he decided to add clay to his means of expression. His work finds sources of inspiration in the symbols and iconography that traveled centuries, be it in Oriental or Western geographies.

أشرف قسايسية فنان تشكيلي من مواليد فرنسا وله جذور جزائرية.يقيم حاليا بالإمارات العربية المتحدة بعد أن عاش وسافر في المغرب العربي ومشرقه، واوروبا وآسيا الشرقية. بدأ مسيرته الفنية كفنان تشكيلي ومصور فوتوروبرتاج قبل أن يستعين بالطين ويضيف السيرميك إلى انجازاته التي تتسم بالحيوية واللجوء الى  الرموز العتيقة التى ترتكز عليها ديانات وحضارات العالم الاسلامي وما سبقتها من حضارات في أراضي الشرق الاوسط وافريقيا.
