About The Art Circle

​

The Art Circle is a UAE-based cultural organization dedicated to promoting contemporary art and supporting artists across the MENASA region. Through exhibitions, artist studio visits, talks, cultural journeys, and the annual TAC Award, we create meaningful connections between artists, collectors, patrons, and cultural institutions.

Internship Overview

​

The Art Circle is looking for a passionate and motivated Intern, Exhibition & Cultural Events Assistant to support the organization in the preparation and delivery of TAC Award 2026.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in exhibition management, cultural programming, and event organization while working closely with artists, collectors, galleries, and cultural institutions.

The intern will assist the team throughout the preparation period (September to November) and will play a key role during the exhibition at Alserkal Avenue (Dubai), where they will be present on-site every day to welcome visitors and support the event.

 

Key Responsibilities

​

September – November

  • Assist with the preparation of TAC Award exhibition and opening event.

  • Support administrative and logistical coordination.

  • Help prepare visitor information and exhibition materials.

  • Provide support to TAC team on day-to-day operational tasks.

 

Exhibition Week (12–22 November 2026)

  • Be present on-site every day during exhibition opening hours.

  • Welcome visitors, collectors, partners, and organized groups.

  • Introduce visitors to The Art Circle, TAC Award, and the exhibiting artists.

  • Present the artworks and answer general questions about the exhibition.

  • Ensure the exhibition space remains welcoming and well presented.

  • Support TAC team during the opening reception and throughout the exhibition.

  • Act as the main on-site representative of The Art Circle during opening hours.

 

Candidate Profile

​

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Is available for a full-time unpaid internship from September to November 2026.

  • Has a strong interest in contemporary art, exhibitions, museums, and cultural events.

  • Is currently studying or has recently completed studies in Art History, Fine Arts, Museum Studies, Cultural Management, Arts Administration, or a related field.

  • Must be fluent in English.

  • Arabic is highly desirable, and French would be an additional advantage.

  • Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Is proactive, organised, reliable, and enjoys interacting with the public.

  • Is comfortable working independently while representing The Art Circle professionally.

 

This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience within one of the UAE's leading non-profit cultural organizations and to contribute to a major contemporary art exhibition at Alserkal Avenue.
