Preview Menart Fair - Gallery Joseph-Tourenne
About the Experience

Conclude Thursday's excursions at the VIP Opening of Menart Fair, the first international art fair dedicated to modern and contemporary art from the Middle East and North Africa. Returning for its 7th edition during Paris Art Week, the fair takes over Galerie Joseph-Turenne, a former early 20th-century tie workshop in the heart of the Marais, where bright, minimalist spaces retain their exposed stone walls and period woodwork. The fair brings together 34 galleries from 18 countries and more than 100 artists, spanning the modern period to the emerging contemporary generation across the Levant, the Gulf and North Africa.
Guided by this year's theme, "Where is home?", the fair explores belonging through language, the body, memory, territory, faith and transmission, with works shaped by exile, movement and encounters with the other. Highlights include a Project Room dedicated to the Algerian art scene, curated by Wassyla Tamzali, founder of Ateliers Sauvages in Algiers, and the Revealing section, devoted to emerging or rediscovered talents.
