ABOUT THE EVENT

A solo exhibition by our esteemed Artistic Director, Noor Al Suwaidi. The exhibition, titled "The Sun is for Everyone, The Moon is for You," will showcase a collection of her exquisite and thought-provoking artworks.

 Be ready to immerse yourselves in her work and engage in conversations about art and its transformative power with the artist.

Please note :

- At 3:30 PM, prior to Nour’s solo exhibition visit , the team of Al Serkal kindly proposed to take us on a tour of some of  the exhibitions on show . We highly recommend you to join us then . Please meet us at the yard .

- At 6:30 PM, For those who wish to attend, Nour will take part in a panel discussion “From the Studio to the Community“ always in warehouse 45.

Emirati visual artist (curator), Noor Al Suwaidi, is one of the young Emirati personality figures who has achieved remarkable professional accomplishments during her years of work that followed her obtaining a Master’s Degree in Curating Contemporary Design from Kingston University in the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art from the American University in Washington, in addition to her studies in Communication Visuals at the American University of Sharjah.

Al Suwaidi began her career as a cultural advisor at the embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the United States (2013-2015), was a faculty member at Zayed University in 2015, and served as the Senior Director of Culture at Expo Dubai between 2016 and 2017, and worked as Director of Programs at the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi in 2017. She was awarded the "Official Artist of the Year 2011" in the art category.
