ABOUT THE EVENT
We are pleased to announce the 6th edition of The Art Circle Award supported by Alserkal. The award ceremony will take place as part of the Alserkal Art Week programme on November 11th at 6pm in WH-50B, The Project Space, Alserkal Avenue, Dubai.
This edition invited artists to respond to the provocation ‘On mending…when the breaking is still happening’, which explores the act of remaining present inside destruction and making something—a stitch, a mark, a colour, a form—that insists on continuity.
The proposals were reviewed by a jury of curators, collectors and cultural practitioners:
Maya El Khalil, Curator & Art Advisor
Kevin Jones, Artistic Director at Alserkal
Mohammed Afkhami, Art Patron & Philanthropist
