M2M WITH SAMAR MATTA KANAAN & ANNUAL MEMBERS GET TOGETHER

Our dear member, Samar Kanaan, will open the doors of her home to TAC members for a private viewing of her art collection around an informal gathering, a perfect opportunity for members to mingle and get to know the new members.

Samar is married and mother of three. She has been living in the United Arab Emirates since 54 years, and is today owner and CEO

of the family business Sahara Abu Dhabi Real Estate Management and the Cyber Café.

Having lived between Abu Dhabi and London in a home with professional yet aesthete parents and art collectors, Samar acquired the taste and appreciation for art since a young age and became a lover of many different art forms.

Samar is inviting us to discover her art collection where Lebanon will be brought to the spotlight as it is composed of a wide variety of paintings and sculptures all by Lebanese artists depicting Lebanon each in their unique way as best seen through their eyes, and more specifically our visit will focus on the famous late artist and sculptor Alfred Basbous who’s son Fadi Basbous we are honored to have among us as the curator.
