Aladdin in Versailles

5.15pm: We will head to Al Mayass Restaurant at the Galleria Mall Abu Dhabi. 

6 pm: Pre Iftar Talk: “ALADDIN IN VERSAILLES" by Paulo Lemos Horta, author of the Arabian Nights. 

Paulo will recount how he came to the conclusion that Aladdin’s story was forged in Versailles by a storyteller from Aleppo. 

Paulo is a NYU global network professor and author of Marvellous Thieves: Secret Authors of the Arabian Nights and The Annotated Arabian Nights

6.45pm: Iftar

We will have the pleasure to conclude the afternoon by an iftar. The perfect occasion to get together and enjoy the spirit of the holly month of Ramadan.
