3rd Field Visit to Expo 2020

A third visit to Expo is due on Wednesday 26th January.

Your tailored visit will go as follows:

9:45 Am: meet at the reception of the Rove hotel in Expo 2020

10:00 Am sharp: A tour of the art installations, by buggies, with Dr Hayat Shamsuddin Senior Vice President at Expo Pavilions & Exhibitions (eleven leading artists have created artworks for public spaces across the site of Expo 2020 Dubai, Hamra Abbas, Afra Al Dhaheri, Shaikha Al Mazrou, Monira Al Qadiri, Abdullah Al Saadi, Asma Belhamar, Olafur Eliasson, Nadia Kaabi-Linke, Khalil Rabah, Yinka Shonibare CBE (RA), Haegue Yang)

11:00 Am: a short visit to Menasa at Rove hotel to view the Emirati Design Platform where we will be treated to some refreshments.

11:45 Am: Head to the Spanish pavilion to meet the amazingly talented Daniel Canogar in person. He will be presenting to us one of his most ambitious projects “Dynamo” suspended in the atrium of the pavilion.

Dynamo is a site-specific audiovisual artwork created in collaboration with the sound artist and composer Francisco López.

12:30 PM : Spanish Tapas lunch at the Spanish pavilion restaurant

2:00 Pm : Guided visit to the quintessential Water Feature created by California based WET Design which builds the world’s most iconic fountains. It combines the elements of water, earth and fire in a way that will both surprise and delight the senses.

The tour will end around 3 pm.
